Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Landscaip (“Landscaip,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and the Landscaip landscape design service (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this Policy and our Terms of Service.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and a hashed password when you create an account. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, profile image URL, and a Google account identifier.
• User content: Photos, project names, custom prompts, in-painting masks, and other inputs you submit to the Service.
• Generation data: Style presets, settings (time of day, season, weather), generated designs, and the iteration history for each generation.
• Billing information: When you purchase credits or a subscription, our payments processor (Stripe) collects your card details. We receive billing metadata such as the last four digits, card brand, country, and a Stripe customer identifier. We never store full card numbers.
• Usage and device data: IP address, browser and user agent, timestamps, pages viewed, and feature usage, which we use to operate and improve the Service.
• Cookies: Strictly necessary cookies used to keep you signed in and to remember checkout sessions.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and operate the Service (host photos, generate renderings, manage credits, and deliver downloads).
• Process payments and prevent fraudulent charges.
• Authenticate users and secure accounts.
• Send transactional emails (signup confirmation, receipts, account notices).
• Respond to support requests and provide customer service.
• Diagnose bugs, monitor performance, and improve reliability.
• Comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms, and protect our users.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your user content or the designs generated from it to train AI models for the general public.

We share data with the following service providers we contract to run the Service:

• Supabase, Inc.Database, authentication, and private object storage for uploaded photos and renderings. Privacy Policy
• Google LLCAI image generation via the Gemini API. Your source photos and prompts are transmitted to Google to produce renderings. Also provides Google sign-in. Privacy Policy

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our Terms, to protect the rights, safety, and property of Landscaip or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale — in which case we will require the recipient to honor this Policy.

When you generate a design, the source photo, your prompt, and the selected style presets and settings are sent to a third-party AI provider (currently Google, via the Gemini API) for processing. The provider returns a rendering that we store and associate with your generation. We do not permit our AI provider to use your inputs or outputs to train general-purpose models.

We retain your account, projects, uploads, and renderings for as long as your account is active. You may delete individual images, generations, or your entire account at any time. When you delete your account we remove your uploaded photos and renderings from active storage. Billing records are retained as required for accounting and tax purposes, and backups may persist for a limited period after deletion.

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights over your personal information, including the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your information (subject to legal-retention obligations).
• Export a copy of your information in a portable format.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, including opting out of marketing emails.

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and EU, UK, and EEA residents have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, email support@landscaip.co from the address on your account so we can verify ownership.

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or 16 in the EU, EEA, and UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.

Landscaip is operated from the United States, and our sub-processors may store or process information outside your country. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.

We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), private object storage with row-level access control, and hashed passwords via Supabase Auth. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and while we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where reasonable, notify you by email or an in-service notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
